Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Collate inserts
   • All inserts required for the job are checked and confirmed against job specifications
   • Inserts are arranged in a manner that makes manual collation as easy and safe as possible
   • Collated inserts are correct and in sequence
2. Match inserts
   • Collated data is correctly matched to addressee
   • Address information is verified as accurate
   • Bar code information is checked for correct sequence of addressees to collated information where relevant
   • Any discrepancies are reported to the supervisor
3. Reconcile output
   • The total number of throughputs matches the job specifications
   • The destination delivery unit rate matches the job specifications
   • An information matching trail is documented
   • Correct procedures for the control of materials are followed
   • Any discrepancies are reported to the supervisor
